Engineer and software developer Lydia Callaghan created the Bouclier bike helmet visor to increase protection from harmful UV rays. Facial protection from the sun can be overlooked during commutes and bike rides, which is why this convenient helmet attachment has been created.
The Bouclier -- which translates to shield -- is an easy-to-use helmet accessory that is compatible with any existing helmet. The visor comes with two anchors that attach to either side of a helmet using 3M VHB tape. Attached to the tape is a rotating knob that allows the user to adjust the visor up and down to suit their preference.
This handy accessory protects against 98 percent of harmful UV rays as well as wind, bugs and debris.
