Made available for free download on Apple and Android smartphones, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission app grants users a list of licensed alcohol-serving and alcohol-selling businesses in their area. Users can even utilize the app to directly report suspected violations on the part of businesses, or indeed any complaint that pertains to irresponsible and illegal practices in the alcohol space.

While government agencies do deploy inspectors to enforce alcohol laws, it's impossible for these individuals to cover all the ground in their jurisdiction, which is why the use of an app to involve citizens in the process offers improved outcomes.
