The Tennant Inventory Scan Cleans Floors While Assessing Retail Inventory

The Tennant Company, a manufacturer specializing in tech-forward cleaning solutions, has announced the launch of Tennant Inventory Scan, a fully autonomous robotic floor scrubber designed especially for retailers.

However, the Inventory Scan's floor scrubbing abilities are not the only thing making this innovative tool stand out. Not only does the device clean store floors, but it can simultaneously scan on-shelf inventory, making it a unique two-in-one solution for any retailer. In addition, the new robotic cleaner was developed in partnership with Brain Corp, a leading robotics manufacturer.

“By adding data-collection functionality to our AMR floor scrubbers and integrating with a retailer’s existing inventory management system, we can meaningfully improve how retail stores operate. Inventory Scan allows retailers to be more efficient by minimizing the need for labor-intensive, manual approaches and helps ensure shelves remain stocked" explained Dave Huml, Tennant Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
