BuzzFeed News is taking an unusual approach to the 2020 Presidential Election by employing Teen Ambassadors to create engaging video content on popular social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. This will be considered part of BuzzFeed News' 2020 election coverage.

There is a total of three teen ambassadors between the ages of 16 and 19. This approach is not only encouraging to youth in the realm of politics, but it also has the potential to show the world where youth interest is leaning toward.

The job description for the teen ambassadors called for creative and passionate candidates who were "eager to show what 2020 means for them and their peers." Moreover, the selected few will work with BuzzFeed News editors on news judgment and best practices for growing social audiences.
