Audible is Marking Jane Austen's Death with Taxi Rides in London

To bring awareness to the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's death, Audible is launching a themed taxi ride in London that gives people the chance to hop on a vehicle that will transport them back to the 19th century.

The Austen Taxi takes the form of a horse-drawn carriage, which will transport people from King's Cross Station to their next destination. Inside the carriage, travelers are treated to snippets of a new dramatization of Northanger Abbey upon passing iconic landmarks like the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, St Paul’s Cathedral and Smithfields market.

To elevate the mundane experience of a daily commute, which many people have come to dread, brands are leveraging this important daily ritual for the purpose of promoting new products and services in an immersive, experiential and highly entertaining environment.
