Sewing-Inspired Body Art

Tattooique put together a nice gallery of tats that are for the needle freaks--the sewing needle freaks, that is. For some reason, it just doesn't compute to me that a person who wants a tattoo would want it to be of something as domesticated as sewing. It's like going to a strip club and drinking Kool-Aid. Something is wrong here.

Implications - Tattoos are not the cultural taboo they were in generations past; individuals of all ages are getting their hobbies, professional interests and personal beliefs inked on their bodies. Even traditionally tame, domestic pursuits such as sewing, knitting and crocheting are translated into permanent body ink for hardcore individuals.
