Experience Agency Created the IoT 'Hooha' to Update Antiquated Dispensers

With 'Hooha,' experiential agency Huge is saying goodbye to tampon dispensers of the past with coin slots and broken knobs, and with it, the stigma and shame surrounding menstruation. The IoT dispenser made its debut at The Female Quotient's FQ Lounge, Home of Equality @ SXSW on International Women's Day.

By sending a text message, people are able to receive a tampon quickly, conveniently and for free. Notably, the new and improved design of the machine also includes other improvements, including a window that shows the available stock and the capacity to hold up to 60 tampons a time, which is three times more than the industry average.

At SXSW, Hooha partnered with The Female Quotient, a female-owned business, to create the 'Power of Being Heard' experience and committed to bringing awareness to "a lack of women with decision-making power in tech."
