Louis Vuitton, the famous designer label, has released a new accessory called the Tambour Horizon Connected Watch. As its name suggests, the watch is no ordinary timepiece. Rather, its a smartwatch capable of operating Android Wear, Google's operating system for wearable devices.
The Tambour Horizon Connected Watch comes with a Sanpdragon 2100, 4 gigabytes of storage, 512 megabytes of RAM, and a 390 by 390 AMOLED screen. It also runs special features like a travel app called 'Vuitton City Guide' and a flight information app called 'myFlight.'
As one might expect, those features coupled with the Louis Vuitton name give the Tambour Horizon Connected Watch a high price tag. The watch is currently listed at $2,450, showing that even luxury items being angled to engage with the burgeoning internet of things.
