A talkbox is an old-school tool that musicians used to attach to their instruments, with a piece of tubing going into their mouths, in order to give their voices the cool robotic sound accomplished today by auto-tune.
Traditionally, these tools cost a couple hundred dollars, not including the cord or instrument that it needs to be attached to, resulting in high costs. The WeeWow is a low-cost method of using the sounds created by an iPhone instead, creating a more portable and affordable version. It clips onto the base of the phone and can be used with any apps that have cool sound effects.
