Dancing B-Boy Porcelain Figurines

Taku Obata works with Galerie Bommb on the 'B-Boy' Art Sculpture

Japanese artist Taku Obata works in collaboration with Parisian Galerie Bomma on a joint art sculpture that resembles a dancing b-boy. Obata recently launched wooden figures at the artKYOTO fair and the recent partnership boasts an all-white look.

It utilizes porcelain materials to make up the sculpture, making up a dynamic structure of the ubiquitous b-boy taking the position of a squatting position. Taku Obata also highlights the special series in Limonges by Galerie Bomma, using the traditional ceramic methods. The sculpture stands at 17 cm in height and is set to launch a limited edition of 30 with 10 specific artist proofs in total. Each piece is signed within the mold before it is dated and numbered by the artist.
