Infants hardly have the problem of being photogenic, but sometimes taking a picture of a baby can be a challenge if you want them to be looking at the camera. Instead of fruitlessly trying to get babies to look at you, or settling for candid shots of kids looking away, the 'Look Birdy' app was specifically designed to capture their attention before you snap a picture.
App developer Ben Keenan uses a good dose of humor to describe that the app "solves a first world problem that has plagued parents for [...] as long as phones could take photos." The app is a simple one that makes a tweeting sound and uses the camera's flash to capture their attention, so that photo-taking is fun rather than a fight.
