'Square Enix,' the game developer and publisher most known for the 'Final Fantasy' and 'Kingdom Hearts' series, launched 'Tactics Ogre: Reborn,' a sprite-style turn-based tactical role-playing game. This game is a 2022 remake of the title 'Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together,' released in 2010 for the Playstation Portable, which in itself is a remake of the original 'Tactics Ogre' released in 1995 for the Super Famicom.
With the game's history out of the way, the gameplay focuses on team building and tile-based gameplay. Players control an army of characters, each with unique abilities, classes, and weapons. These characters each interact with the environment differently, with archers gaining more range and bonuses when on higher ground, and certain classes gaining bonuses when on different types of terrain, or when attacking an enemy from behind.
