'Bell & Evans,' the chicken company headquartered in Pennsylvania, has launched the 'Tacos de Mexico' and 'Herbs D'Italia' pre-seasoned chicken products. These consumer packaged goods (CPGs) are made from 100% real dark meat and are sold ready to cook. The CPGs are sold in one-pound vacuum-sealed recyclable trays as part of the brand's commitment to sustainability.
The Tacos de Mexico flavoring is dressed in a custom taco seasoning. This seasoning includes chili peppers, oregano, cumin, black peppers, and more. The Herbs D'Italia flavor, on the other hand, is pre-seasoned with a variety of herbs and spices such as oregano, basil, and garlic.
While many consumers choose to buy ground beef products and whole chicken cuts, the advent of pre-seasoned and ready-to-cook ground chicken products may draw more attention to the sector of CPGs as a whole.
