As a geeky student of art history, the Table Lamp OOO initially struck me as a three-dimensional model of Sidney Nolan's painting entitled Boy and the Moon. Of course, the light fixture embodies the minimalist assembly of a round base, a tubular stand and a circular top, composing a rather constructivist contraption that can be symbolically interpreted or appreciated simply for its purist geometry and vibrant yellow color.
A tiny lightbulb beneath the thin upper dish of Vasiliy Butenko's piece can be fully exposed or shifted out of sight by the easy rotation of the round panel on its magnetic fulcrum. This golden face serves as a lampshade to block direct illumination from the Table Lamp OOO so that it can be used to light up any space or activity and conform to your desired ambiance.
