Tamsworth Distilling created a world-first wearable, drinkable perfume gin called Sylvan Mist. "I remember reading a book on perfume and alchemy years ago and I thought it was really interesting that the origin of how spirits were created was the search for perfume," said Steven Grasse, the craft distillery’s founder, "But also, if you think about the relationship between gin and perfume and how they're made in botanicals, it seems very symbiotic.”
Although the idea started out as a simple one, formulating it proved to be more of a challenge. The task was creating a mist that was aromatic with ingredients that would also be appealing and safe to ingest. This unique wearable gin boasts woodsy notes with notes of fresh-cut grass, kiwi skin and honeydew melon.
