Swiss chocolate brand Chez Christophe taps Vancouver-based design studio arithmetic for a cohesive and style-focused visual identity. When delivering the project, the creative firm drew inspiration from the concept of connectedness, as well as the Swiss manifestation of the Art Deco movement.

The packaging boasts a restricted color palette that is adventurous in its use of geometry to form playful abstract patterns. The shapes present on the packaging of the Swiss chocolate brand's product are predominantly golden parallel lines and triangles. arithmetic strategically selected these motifs to loosely mimic the mountainous range in the country. In fact, the design studio describes its approach as "a non-literal graphic solution to the typical approach of depicting the original roots of the Swiss Alps."
