Tinder has made its 'Swipe the Vote' feature available again from October 25 to November 01 ahead of the US general election on November 08.
Swipe the Vote was introduced on the app in March, and the new version of the feature allows users to swipe on issues. Based on how users swipe on issues like taxes, immigration and gun control, Tinder will match them with the presidential candidate with the policy they agree with most. Once a user matches with a candidate, they can learn more about them by tapping on their names.
The Swipe the Vote feature was created with non-profit Rock the Vote, which helped to create the polls and to encourage users to register to vote in the app. The app also informs US users where the closest polling station is located.
