While Las Vegas is known for its neon signs and blinding lights, a minimalist dessert bar called 'Sweets Raku' is quickly making its mark. With a clean white interior and delicately crafted desserts, the tiny eatery is a welcome alternative to Vegas' more livery restaurants and a perfect place for those attending Trend Hunter’s Las Vegas innovation conference to explore the future of food.

Sweets Raku is the cozy sidekick to the popular Japanese restaurant Raku. But instead of savory Japanese dishes, pastry chef Mio Ogasawara serves up a rotating selection of delicate Japanese desserts that have been adapted to suit the American palate. With treats ranging from a Japanese roll cake stuffed with banana custard to house-made sherbet in seasonal flavors, the dessert menu has something for just about anyone.

Although more low-key than other Vegas hotspots, Sweets Raku is a must for dessert lovers.
