Low-Sugar Whipped Creams

The Milram Sweetened Lactose-Free Whipped Cream is for Foodservice

The Milram sweetened lactose-free whipped cream has been developed by the Germany-based dairy brand as a product for the foodservice category.

The product has had lactase added to the milk that breaks down the lactose into glucose and galactose, which give the whipped cream a lactose-free formulation but also a sweeter taste. The product thus enables the brand to reduce the sugar content to 9% and position as much lower than the industry standard. The result is a free-from whipped cream perfect for a variety of applications within the foodservice category.

Marketing Lead OOH Maarten Ploos van Amstel spoke on the Milram sweetened lactose-free whipped cream saying, "We are able to produce a whipped cream that is just as delicious and sweet, but with less sugar, meeting the trend for lower sugar consumption."
