Swicy Dry Rubs

Selefina Spices Boasts a New Sweet and Spicy Dry Rub Line-Up

Selefina Spices has introduced a new lineup of sweet and spicy dry rubs specifically designed to elevate summer cookouts. The new range boasts three distinctive blends that offer grill enthusiasts a range of complex flavor profiles for National Grilling Month.

The Sweet and Sassy Smokehouse Rub, which was created in collaboration with Top Chef's Dave Martin, balances smoked paprika with the sweetness of maple and molasses. The blend is complemented by guajillo chile and Vietnamese black peppercorn for gentle heat, while oregano and cumin provide earthy depth. The Five Pepper Cacao Rub, on the other hand, presents a salt-free option that pairs subtle cacao with a fruity, smoky mix of five chiles, including ancho, chipotle, and cayenne. This sensation is anchored by garlic and coriander to offer a moderately spicy profile suitable for steak tacos or salmon. Finally, the Chili Up North Spice Blend takes a Southwest-inspired approach by combining chipotle and ancho peppers with Canadian maple sugar for a sweet, woodsy twist.
