The biomimetic design uses curved structural members to create a lightweight framework that integrates with the surrounding vegetation while maintaining visual and physical connections to nature.
The pavilion's porous bamboo construction allows natural light, airflow and views of the surrounding trees and water to pass through the structure, creating a sheltered environment without enclosing it completely. Elevated above the landscape, the central platform provides space for small gatherings while encouraging interaction with the site's natural sounds and changing light conditions.
