The defining characteristic of this apartment in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, is the green walls. SVOYA Studio designed the apartment with brevity and control, making the vertical gardening panels stand out even more.
The open-plan kitchen and living area is oriented to make the most of the views of the famous River Dnipro. The vertical gardening panels are interspersed between windows, creating a warm and cozy vantage point from which to view the hustle and bustle of the city streets below.
The architects ultimately sought to create a comfortable, enjoyable space, decorated with contemporary art. In fact, the austere design principals that the architects implemented were noticeably softened by the art work, vintage decor and furniture, creating a remarkably welcoming space.
