Samsung is unveiling SunnySide as one of its C-Lab projects at CES 2020, introducing a window-shaped lighting system that is designed to produce artificial sunlight and synthesize Vitamin D. Since daylight hours are limited during some seasons, and people may live or work in settings that have poor access to natural light, SunnySide offers an easy-to-install solution that can be attached to a wall with all the ease of a photo frame.
Once in place, SunnySide is useful for mimicking the spectrum of real sunlight, offering all the mood-boosting health benefits of being exposed to natural light without the harmful effects such as nasty sunburns or risk of accelerated aging.
