Contemporary eyewear label and TV personality Jimmy Fallon enter a collaboration together to create a pair of classic sunglasses with a twist. The design is informed by a personal habit of the famed comedian -- often, he finds himself spinning his eyewear. As a result, the partnership with the brand seeks to create an ultra-niche product based on that.
Dubbed 'Spinnies™,' the Jimmy Fallon x Warby Parker joint venture boasts sunglasses that are geared for spinning. The unique mechanism is currently patent-pending and ultra-durable. According to the brand, the frame is proven to withstand 10,000 spins.
Consumers can purchase the limited-edition sunglasses with a twist starting December 5th. A 100% of one's Spinnies™ purchase will be donated to the Pupils Project which is a program that provides free vision screenings, eye exams and glasses to school children in the United States.
