Baked Pudding Desserts

Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream's Sundae Roast is Served in Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire pudding is versatile enough to support savory and sweet creations alike, and Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream explored the latter with Sundae Roast—ice cream served in Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings. Unlike a cup or a crisp cone, the baked pudding soaked up extra flavor and adds dimension to make two beloved indulgences even more enticing. "The Yorkshire Pudding is one of our county’s most famous exports, but there are so many more ways for people to enjoy them beyond a Sunday roast," said Scott Rogers, owner of Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream. Although this limited-time menu item has disappeared, it can be recreated at home, and customized as desired.

This unconventional pairing was inspired by an Aunt Bessie's collaboration with Anya Hindmarch's Ice Cream Project, which saw a Vanilla and Golden Syrup flavored ice cream enhanced with pieces of Aunt Bessie’s Golden Glorious Yorkshire Puddings.
