Timber-Framed Solar Canopies

SunCommon's New Solar Canopy is Both Functional and Beautiful

In an effort to give Vermonters a new way to go green, SunCommon has designed a new Solar Canopy that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

SunCommon's new Solar Canopy is a timber frame structure that allows homeowners to cover their patio, driveway or woodpile with solar panels. On top of the wooden frame sits a number of glass solar panels that absorb light from both the front and back. These Sunpreme bi-facial solar panels ensure that even if the top of the Solar Canopy is covered in snow, the underside of the panels can still produce power by capturing the sunlight reflected off of the snow-covered ground.

With a beautiful design that is specially suited to Vermont's snowy weather, these solar panel-covered canopies are the perfect solution for Vermonter's interested in embracing solar power.
