Stitch You Up by YT Sumner is Inspired by the '80s and '90s

Embroidery has been embraced by young modern artists over the last few years and it has culminated in the series titled Stitch You Up by YT Sumner, a writer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. She channels her love of pop culture for the inspiration behind each piece. As written on her Facebook page, "I love pop and art culture and tend to lean a little towards the dark comedy/ horror side of things."

From Stephen King to 'Married with Children' and everything in between, Stitch You Up by YT Sumner is full of golden nuggets that many hipsters will enjoy. Her exhibition of the same name will feature subcategories including Horror Heroes, Lady Loves, TV That Messed Me Up and Books I Shouldn't Have Read At That Age.
