The Food Network Steak Pizzaiola Recipe Merges Meat with Italian Ingredients

The Food Network's Steak Pizzaiola recipe mixes strips of sirloin with traditional Italian cuisine. Much like a typical pizza, the ingredients call for extra-virgin olive oil, garlic cloves and crushed tomatoes.

Although some of the culinary additions might be expected in this dish, seen in pepperoncini and red pepper flakes, the use of boneless steak is seldom seen in similar pies. Moreover, this is also a crust-less pizza, swapping out the bread with focaccia slices.

According to the posted recipe, the Steak Pizzaiola takes approximately 20 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to cook. It can thus be made in a relatively short amount of time. Various components can also be replaced depending on how readers choose to make the dish.
