Starship Technologies is Releasing Its Delivery Robots to New Cities

Starship Technologies is responding to the changing circumstances due to COVID-19, and the organization in mobilizing to bring its autonomous delivery robots to more cities. This is because Starship Technologies can use the delivery robots for contact deliveries. Most notably the company expanded into Tempe, Arizona, and it will also expand to Washington and Irvine latter this year.

Ryan Tuohy, who is the head of business development for the company, stated that the expansion efforts are the result of a drastic increase in demand. Tuohy also spoke specifically on the Temple expansion, “We’re looking forward to serving the Tempe community as more people are looking for ways to support local businesses while spending more time at home. Our robots are doing autonomous deliveries in five countries and we’re grateful that our robots can make life a little bit easier for everyone.”
