The Spacex Starhopper Test Vehicle Has Completed a Launch Attempt

SpaceX completed a successful launch of its Starhopper test vehicle, where the Starhopper was able to complete a small hover over its launch pad located in Texas. The Starhopper test vehicle was created in order to test out the technology that will later be implemented to test other spacecraft. This recent test launch had the spacecraft hover untethered for the first time. SpaceX was testing engines that will be incorporated in its Raptor model.

Elon Musk released an engine cam video from the launch on his Twitter account and the event was also captured from a further distance on a live stream. The successful test launch came the day after SpaceX had two unsuccessful launches and is a celebratory milestone for the innovation leader.
