Highlighter Table Lamps

The Stabilo Lamp is a Conceptual Tabletop Light Inspired by a Highlighter

The Stabilo Lamp reimagines the familiar form of a Stabilo highlighter as a playful tabletop lighting concept created by designer Emanuele Jane Morelli. Scaled to approximately one foot tall, the lamp transforms the marker's chisel tip into an illuminated diffuser that glows when powered on, while the cap functions as a tinted shade surrounding the light source. The concept is available in neon yellow, pink, and green, preserving the recognizable appearance of the original stationery design.

Designed as an unofficial concept, the lamp celebrates everyday office objects through functional lighting rather than serving as a direct product adaptation. Its compact size produces a soft ambient glow intended for mood lighting instead of task illumination, emphasizing decorative appeal over brightness. Although the Stabilo Lamp has not entered production, the concept attracted attention online.
