Squad, the Gen Z social app, recently partnered with Snap to launch Camera Kit to enable both camera and AR experiences while using the app. The new integration leverages Snapchat’s familiar Lens carousel and technology platform into Squad’s mobile application’s camera for an integrated user experience. Plus, the partnership provides an opportunity for Lenses powered by Snap Camera to reach Snapchat’s 238 million "global daily active users and highly-engaged teen and millennial audiences."
Esther Crawford, the CEO and Co-Founder of Squad, commented on the new initiative, stating: “We're incredibly excited to bring lenses to Squad's audio and video rooms.
