The Sprite drone is a cylinder-shaped aerial vehicle that is designed for easy portability and functionality. The drone was conceived by a pair of aerospace engineers and outdoor enthusiasts who realized that an aerial perspective could aid them greatly while climbing around.

Their resulting creation is a waterproof, thermos-like tube that has rotors at the top and blades that fold in when not in use. Its base features a 2-axis stabilized gimbal with a 1080p video camera. The device can either be flown manually with a flight controller or via an Android app. Pilots will be able to insert waypoints into flight paths, have the drone circle specific objects with the camera fixed onto the subject, follow the user and even survey particular areas.

With these features, the Sprite drone manages to stand out among an increasingly crowded field of drones.
