DJI Unveils the Flip for Fully Foldable, Compact Capturing

DJI is introducing the Flip, a new drone unit for capturing high-quality content on the go. Described as a device that fuses “[the] simplicity of the DJI Neo with the stunning photo capabilities of the DJI Mini,” this drone is equipped with 4K shooting capabilities, 100fps slow motion video, better battery life and data speeds, and automatic braking for high-altitude collisions.

For frequent travelers, the new device comes with a new Local Data Mode that disconnects the drone from internet while on an airplane. The flip weighs 249 grams, which is more than the company's Neo 135, but with enhancements that balance it out. The DJI Flip will commence shipping on January 21 in the U.S.
