Condom brand Trojan is mocking BDSM romance Fifty Shades of Grey in its latest spoof ad.
The two-minute commercial centers around an average couple who are forced to attend couples' therapy after a few rolls in the hay gone wrong. Using 50 Shades as a how-to guide on kink, the couple has suffered a fair share of scrapes and bruises (and not the good kind), leading the husband to wryly dub the novel, "50 Shades of Lumbar Strain."
Luckily, all is resolved by the therapist, who encourages the couple to be themselves, leading to the spoof ad's tagline: "Get out of the grey area, into 50 shades of real pleasure." Hopefully this commercial will save a few enthusiastic, but ill-prepared couples some sex-related injuries.
