The SpinTales Game Is Being Unveiled at CES 2017

Textiles aren't often associated with the cutting edge of technology, but the SpinTales textiles make use of revolutionary advances in AR to turn blankets into toys that kids will love. With the SpinTales blanket and app, kids can follow a VR adventure story as it travels across their bed.

The SpinTales blanket is a beautiful, colorful picture of a mythical fairytale land. Even on its own, the blanket is something kids will love to investigate. However, with the accompanying app, kids can turn the blanket from an interesting curio into a full-fledged gaming experience.

Using a tablet, kids can play the SpinTales game. The tablet camera will display the blanket and overlay it with all sorts of effects, including a character named Little Red that kids follow on an adventure.
