Merrell shines a spotlight on one of its latest models in the form of the SpeedARC Surge BOA sneaker. It is defined by its hiking trail abilities with a sturdy build and prepared for adventures outdoors. It is detailed with a futuristic facade which makes it captivating to the eye.
The silhouette uses technology that is often seen in running shoes and has been re-engineered so that it is suitable for walking pace. The senior design director at Merrell, Ian Cobb spoke to Highsnobiety about the new design process, noting “Their reaction was [largely] shock and awe.
