A recent New York Times article outlined this interesting phenomenon, highlighting hotels that provided activities at night for guest entertainment.
The Sorrento Hotel in Seattle began offering 'Night School' which provided guests with book readings and special guest speakers to attract future customers and out-do their rival hotels. Special event hotels, like the Sorrento, are a perfect way to attract customers, both local and foreign.
