Supercell Invested $37 Million USD into Space Ape Games

Supercell announced a new $37 million USD investment in the mobile game developer 'Space Ape Games.' Space Ape Games is most known for its engaging 'Beatstar' hybrid rhythm game which has topped the mobile game charts in numerous countries. Supercell has previously invested a large sum of capital into Space Ape Games in 2017 where it secured itself 62.6% of the company. Now, with the additional $37 million, Supercell will own over 75% of Space Ape Games.

As part of this investment, the two mobile game developers will collaborate on future projects while creating more engaging titles for some of their most popular games, such as 'Clash of Clans' or 'Boom Beach.' Currently Space Ape Games is focusing its efforts on 'Boom Beach: Frontlines,' an action strategy game based on Supercell's original beach-themed strategy game.
