Along with minimizing greenhouse gas emissions through the Kyoto Protocol, South Pole Carbon also carries out projects concerning wastewater treatment, cooking stoves, wind power, reforestation and many more in countries all around the world including China, Kenya, India and Taiwan to name a few.
In its mission to protect the Earth, South Pole Carbon has carried out hundreds of projects, creating over thousands of jobs along the way. As part of their initiative, the social business created the Climate Credit Card and the Bloomberg Terminal-recognized climate screener, which allows companies to monitor and track a company’s carbon footprint.
