At first, I must admit I thought this tub belonged in a SNL skit of some sort, yet as I read the post, it turns out the Sorrento bathtub not only exists, but is also based on a traditional Japanese soaker tub.
Inspired by ofuro tubs, the Sorrento bathtub is deep enough for a full-body soak. Designed by Victoria & Albert, it features solid oak stairs, it is freestanding and can be installed pretty much anywhere.
