The SongArc Game Debuting at SXSW Changes the Way You Listen to Music

Making its debut at South by Southwest (SXSW) this week, SongArc allows you to bring your favorite songs to life. At the event (which consists of film, interactive and music festivals and conferences), the "groundbreaking music game" will be launching worldwide and is viewable at Booth #342 at the SXSW Gaming Expo.

From Gamasutra, SongArc enables you to play any genre of music anywhere at any time. Players tap the shapes that appear as they reach the arc at the bottom of the screen. Slightly similar to games like Guitar Hero, it's about keeping the rhythm. A 'sheet creator' also lets you put your own artistic interpretation of each song, which you can also share with others. The addictive game features free content from featured artists too.
