Jetstar Launched the Solo Travel Campaign in Time for Singles Day

In anticipation of Singles Day, a wildly popular shopping day for many parts of the world, Jetstar Asia -- an affordable airline company -- launched the Solo Travel sale to celebrate "singledom." The campaign includes a hilarious commerical that lists all the benefits of solo travel including not having to share your deserts, traveling wherever whenever, and being able to be in the moment without distraction.

This solo travel phenomenon has increased in recent years, and one study suggests that almost half of travelers in Singapore have been on a personal solo trip for pleasure at least four times in their life. As more travelers opt to see the world on their own, we can expect more travel businesses to accommodate the shifting consumer behavior.
