While city grid maps aren't known for their beauty, Haptic Lab is changing that with Soft-Maps.

Soft-Maps are quilts with Brooklyn neighborhoods embroidered on them. Complete with street names, a scale marker and compass rose, the quilts are a pretty take on city design.

Soft-Maps can also be made to order, for anyone living outside Brooklyn who wants to see their city on their bedding.
