Sleep-Tracking Social Media Updates

You Can Now Use Facebook to Check When Friends Are Asleep

Facebook has recently undergone one of the most bizarre social media updates of the year. In line with the social network's new Facebook Reactions update, the social platform now allows users to track when their friends are sleeping.

Designed by Søren Louv-Jansen of Tradeshift, this new program checks Facebook Messenger activity every 10 minutes to give users an idea on whether or not their friends are online or awake. The social media update can also predict when friends wake up throughout the week and presents the date in a weekly format.

This update will give users a good idea on when their friends are awake and active which, in turn, leads to more efficient Facebook message responses.
