Quitplan.com is a free quit smoking support program. The program's web site states it has prolonged their members lives by 4,630 years and saved them $39,235,656. The company recently put up this billboard located on Interstate 94 near Rogers, Minnesota.
Implications - A company cannot solely rely on the traditional forms of advertising anymore as consumers have become almost immune to them. Conventional billboard ads need to be revised and revamped to include elements that will shock and draw attention like they used to. By adding additional props and designs to the rather ordinary stand, companies can increase the likelihood that people will remember their billboards in comparison to others.
