The ‘Smartphones and Society’ infographic takes a look at the ways that smartphones have changed the lives of users all over the world. This infographic goes so far as to coin the term "smartphonatic" to describe the changes in people’s behavior as a result of their smartphone usage. Behaviors include shopping, payments, banking and more.

Social networking abilities on smartphones alone have transformed the way many people interact with each other using technology. The graphic points out that 24 percent of people check their smartphones while driving, 39 percent use them in the bathroom, 48 percent while at the gym and 80 percent within 15 minutes of waking up.
