The Playfinity Backyard League Smart Gaming Baseball is a connected take on the classic piece of sports equipment that's ready to provide kids with an insightful new way to train.

The baseball measures in at nine-inches in diameter and weighs five-ounces, and boasts a series of sensors that will capture data related to throw speed, catches, misses, airtime, accuracy and height. The baseball has an internal battery rated for up to 70-hours of training per charge or around 40,000 throws.

The Playfinity Backyard League Smart Gaming Baseball is engineered with kids aged six to 14-years-old in mind, and connects to Android and iOS devices for real-time coaching feedback. The ball has Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity that's rated to work up to 70-yards in distance.
