Titleist's Vokey Design Group Launches New Carefully Crafted SM9 Wedges

Vokey Design, a golf gear manufacturer, owned by Titleist, has announced the launch of its new SM9 Wedges created by renowned club fabricator Bob Vokey. The design of the all-new clubs has been guided by Titleist’s "deep-rooted tour experimentation exercise," which was built around receiving feedback from tour players regarding a series of unmarked prototypes.

As a result, the new wedges arrive in a sleek shape that tweaks the SM8 model for improved performance. In addition, the wedges themselves feature an 'SM9' print stamped into the toe while the Vokey wings BV trademark sits by the heel. According to the company, the SM9 beta test runs assisted in developing what the tour professionals will be using at the Kapalua Plantation Course.

The new Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges will be made available to the republic for purchase in the coming months. Until then, the clubs will only be available for the pros.
