Instead of using gas-based solutions, the Slighter USB Rechargeable Electric Lighter features a coil -- similar to 12V lighters found in cars -- to light cigarettes.

A more economical choice for smokers, the Slighter USB Rechargeable Electric Lighter is weather-proof, which means that water or wind won't affect it's usage. After providing some 100 lights, the Slighter USB Rechargeable Electric Lighter plugs into a computer port to recharge, which means it'll never require being refilled with gas or need a flint replacement.

The Slighter USB Rechargeable Electric Lighter is a more eco-friendly option, but sadly it probably won't be of much use to anyone other than smokers because of the way it is designed primarily for cigarettes.
